Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I play this game?
Simple! Just by playing these games, you're furthering our cause. While you play the game, our sponsors' advertisements are displayed and
help to fund our operations. You also get to have some fun exercising your math and logic muscles.
How do I play?
You'll be presented with several different types of problems. Read the directions or figure out what goes in the blank (_____) and then choose
the correct answer on the blue buttons down below.
What are these meters?
Making a computer isn't easy work. It involves blood, sweat, tears, and a little arithmetic. Answering each question gets you a silicon pebble.
Ten pebbles make a stack. Two stacks get melted down into a board chip. A board is made up of 10 individual chips. Still with us?
Great! Once you have five boards, they get automatically assembled into a PC.
Don't worry if you can't finish in a session. This being the Internet, it is a group effort and everyone's contributions are helpful. Your effort
is still recorded and used.
Why should I sign up for an account?
You can play and contribute without an account, but an account lets you track your score over time. If you sign
up, you have the chance to create a custom badge recording your ongoing success. The badge is an image file you can link to from
anywhere on the web and show people you support OP1C (and that you aren't too bad at math either).
